Our Trains & Equipment
The "Hurlbut"
Our flagship locomotive is an 1859 4-4-0 steam-profile engine — a beautiful quarter-scale replica of a classic American Standard type locomotive. While she looks like she runs on steam, the Hurlbut is actually gas-powered for reliable, safe operation.
The 4-4-0 wheel arrangement was the most common locomotive design in 19th century America, and our Hurlbut pays faithful tribute to that heritage.
Our Train Consist
Trolley Cars
Two converted trolley cars provide comfortable seating for our passengers. These cars have been adapted specifically for our 15-inch gauge track.
Conductor Car
Our conductor car rounds out the train consist, providing a place for our conductor to ride and ensuring safe operations on every run.
Coming Soon
We are actively working on adding an additional locomotive and two new passenger cars to our roster. Stay tuned for updates!
Track & Infrastructure

We are currently working on a line extension that will add more track and extend the ride experience. Our volunteers are building new trackbed and laying rail to make the railroad even better.
